7th International Y Chromosome User Workshop and 4th International EMPOP Meeting

23. ISFG Congress in Buenos Aires, Argentina
Qualitype AG is looking forward to present you its newest product for the forensics and parentage testing sector on the 23. ISFG World Congress in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
The presentation will focus on the introduction of GenoProof® 2, the newest version of our renowned software, with which you can evaluate kinship analyses and population studies. Next to the calculation of new parameters such as the avuncular index and the extension of exiting functionalities, GenoProof® 2 will now also offer the possibility to analyze sequencer output data directly without any need for additional software.
Besides, we are proud to present you the Spanish version of GenoProof®Mixture 1.1. Both the user interface as well as the entire documentation will now be available in Spanish language, too.
GenoProof® Mixture is an all-in-one software developed especially for the evaluation of forensic traces and complex DNA mixtures. At this, the program may cover the whole process of the evaluation from the analysis of sequences raw data up to sophisticated biostatistical calculations.
And our Qualitype® Abetter LIMS is even one step ahead. It is capable to cover all processes occurring both in the scope of management and in the laboratory in one user-friendly software. The Qualitype® Abetter LIMS has been developed in cooperation with forensic scientist and is capable to deal with all aspect of forensic case work. This includes comprehensive feature for the management of case data such as police records, exhibits, samples, results and reports.

CHRX-RESEARCH Database 2.0 online
We are glad to inform you that the new version of the CHRX-RESEARCH Database is now available under www.chrx-str.org The database has originated from the collaboration of the forensic ChrX research group and the Qualitype AG. The whole application is scientificly examined by the forensic ChrX research group.
This database covers many issues concerning the usage of X-chromosomal markers for forensic purpose. The goal of this page is to provide a database for ChrX STRs and ChrX STR haplotypes comprising population data published for some populations from several countries. Additionally, it is possible to submit own population data.

Now available! - GenoProof® Mixture 1.1
We are glad to inform you that the new version GenoProof® Mixture 1.1 is now available.
GenoProof® Mixture 1.1 is a complete solution for complex forensic DNA samples. It provides the analysis of forensic samples and complex DNA compositions range from raw data to biostatistic calculations.
The new functionalities of GenoProof® Mixture 1.1 include a new graphic component to display electropherograms. This allows a faster display of electropherograms and provides additional editing features.
In the reference data now stutter peak limits can be defined for markers as well as for each allele individually depending on the testkit. The new option "Direct Printing" allows the direct sending of the contents of an active element, such as electropherograms, samples summary or calculation, to the printer.
These and many other enhancements make GenoProof® Mixture 1.1 to an even more powerful analytical tool.
