As an exhibitor, qualitype GmbH attends from August 28 until September 2 the congress of the International Society for Forensic Genetics ISFG in Seoul, South Korea. After the last ISFG Congress in 2015 taking place in Krakau, also in 2017 numerous international experts and scientists from the fields of genetics and forensics are meeting for professional exchange.

qualitype will be presenting the recent evolution concerning the analysis of complex dna mixtures and therefore a new version of the well-known software GenoProof Mixture at its booth. Since 2008, GenoProof Mixture is in use all over the world and is continuously improved ever after. The software is worldwide the sole solution enabling to use all relevant mixture models for forensic calculations – including the fully continuous mixture model now available in version 3.

Besides the product presentation at the booth, the poster “New Software and Process to resolve complex dna mixtures” by Dr Frank Götz – Managing Director of qualitype – provides the opportunity to become informed about both a case study and the validation of GenoProof Mixture 3. Another poster entitled „Missing person and DVI with cloud based software“ offers an insight in the casework with Genolab, the first cloud-based online service for simple and complex kinship examinations worldwide.

At booth No. B-23 in the exhibition area you can have a closer look at GenoProof Mixture and Genolab as well as further software solutions such as the laboratory information management system Abetter LIMS and Abetter Case Management.
