Promega changes its matrix standard for the PowerPlex 5-dye STR-testkits from the old CC5 ILS 500 to the brighter, more photostable WEN ILS 500. The expected actualization of the bin- and panel files, and hence the provided STR-testkit data will take place from the 10th June 2016, as the new dye “WEN” influences the running performance of the fragments.
