The DGAB (German society for paternity testing) and the German-speaking workgroup of the ISFG will host the 12th DGAB annual meeting from the 9th to the 11th of June 2016 in Bielefeld. The Qualitype will again participate as an exhibitor and can be found at stand No. 4 throughout the entire conference. Additionally, Executive director Dr. Frank Götz will be presenting a contribution as part of the scientific program with the title “Kinship analysis of a medieval burial ground”:
Remains of a medieval burial ground were discovered in a district of Dresden through road construction work. The skeletons date back to ca 990 – 1260 after Christ and have been found in a bad condition. The following analysis, of the remains, including the isolation of teeth and long bones, has been done by several Saxon colleges. On the basis of these data, kinship analyses on selected skeletons were performed, paying special attention to the relationship of child skeletons to adult individuals in proximal distance. The conducted analysis will be introduced and discussed as part of a presentation.
We are looking forward to welcoming you at stand No. 4 for this year’s DGAB meeting.
